Professional Background:

o I began my professional journey as an elementary school teacher, working with 2nd and 3rd grade students. o After two years in the classroom, I transitioned into Social Services, where I supported children and families for over eight years. o This work eventually led me to higher education, where I’ve spent the last eight years focused on academic advisement. o In my current role as an Academic Advisor II at Georgia Tech, I provide academic support and guidance to students in the GTPE Online MS in Cybersecurity Program. o I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in School Counseling. Hobbies & Interest: o Reading - I’m an avid reader who enjoys quiet weekends curled up in my window nook with my Kindle and a warm cup of tea. o Music - I also have a love for music, especially the guitar, and plan to gift myself one soon so I can begin teaching myself to play.
