Additional Resources for Newly Hired/Promoted People Leaders

At Workplace Learning & Professional Development, we define people leaders as members of our community who have direct reports and achieve their goals through the efforts of others. Whether you’ve recently joined Georgia Tech as a people leader, were promoted as a new people leader, or want to assess your skills as a people leader, we have resources to help you build skills in this area. Visit pe.gatech.edu/wlpd/people leaders for people leader resources. ASPIRE: Cultivating a Leadership Mindset This program is designed to help you lead from where you are in the organization. You will assess different approaches to leadership to broaden your repertoire of effective behaviors. Together, we will analyze case studies and practice the competencies. You will then create an action plan of how you can apply these practices in your workplace. This experience is a 40-hour commitment over the span of six months.
